ARMY VETERAN. FACTORY SUPERVISOR. CITY COUNCILMAN.
Most politicians in Columbus have never spent a day on a factory floor. Aaron Jones has spent more than twenty years on one.
Born in Tiffin, raised just outside Green Springs, and a 1991 graduate of Clyde High School, Aaron is deeply rooted in the communities of Seneca and Sandusky Counties.
After high school, he served as an Airborne Infantryman with the Army's 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment — The Old Guard.
Today, Aaron is a production supervisor at the Toledo Molding & Die plant and a member of Tiffin City Council. He and his wife Tracy raised their boys here, and now they are watching their grandchildren grow up in the same community.
Aaron knows what it means to work hard, stretch a paycheck, and worry about whether the next generation will have the same opportunities. Families across District 88 are feeling the pressure of rising costs every day.
That's why Aaron is running for State Representative — because District 88 deserves representation grounded in real work, real service, and real community ties.
When you donate even a few bucks, you're making sure a working-class voice can compete. Every contribution goes straight to reaching voters right here in Seneca and Sandusky Counties.

My agenda is simple: doing what’s best for the hardworking people of the 88th District. I’ll fight to bring down costs—like utility bills and property taxes—protect and attract good-paying jobs, and hold Columbus accountable to Seneca and Sandusky Counties.
Here's how I'll deliver:
Families, seniors, and small businesses in Seneca and Sandusky Counties are getting squeezed. Groceries cost more, utility bills keep going up, and property taxes are pushing people, especially seniors, toward the edge.
It shouldn't be this hard to get by. In Columbus, I'll focus on practical steps that lower everyday costs and stop shifting the burden onto homeowners and working families.
I'll fight to:
The bottom line: Working families shouldn't get priced out while well-connected interests get special treatment. I'll fight to lower property taxes and everyday costs so people can get ahead again.
I've spent over 20 years at Toledo Molding & Die. I know what it takes to build a life here, and I know how often working people get treated like an afterthought by decision-makers in Columbus.
I'll fight to:
The bottom line: When good jobs stay here, families can stay here. I'll fight for fair pay, safe workplaces, and an economy that rewards work in Seneca and Sandusky Counties.
Safe communities mean supporting first responders and tackling addiction and mental health in a way that actually reduces crime.
I'll work to:
The bottom line: Public safety means backing first responders and preventing crises before they happen. I'll fight for practical steps that keep our neighborhoods safe.
Too many families in Seneca and Sandusky Counties are one medical bill away from financial disaster. Meanwhile, Columbus cuts funding for the programs that help working families afford care. It doesn't have to be this way.
I'll work to:
The bottom line: No one should go broke because they got sick. I'll work to lower healthcare costs and keep quality care close to home.
Strong infrastructure is essential for economic growth and quality of life. From roads and bridges to water systems and internet access, we need to invest in the basics that every community depends on.
I'll work to:
The bottom line: Roads, clean water, and broadband aren't luxuries—they're basics. I'll work to bring infrastructure investment home to the 88th District.
I'm a proud graduate of Clyde High School. Public schools gave me the foundation I needed to serve in the Army, build a career in manufacturing, and raise a family right here. Every student in the 88th District deserves that same shot—whether they're headed to college, the military, or a skilled trade.
I'll fight to:
The bottom line: Strong public schools keep communities strong. I'll fight for stable funding, local control, and real accountability so every child gets a fair shot.
Our seniors built this community and deserve to live out their years with dignity in the homes and neighborhoods they love. Whether you're a senior yourself or caring for aging parents, too many families are struggling because Columbus politicians won't invest in the support they need.
I'll work to:
The bottom line: Seniors deserve to stay in the homes and communities they love. I'll work to lower costs and expand the support services seniors rely on.
I served four years in the U.S. Army, and I know our duty to veterans doesn't end when they take off the uniform. Too many veterans in Seneca and Sandusky Counties are struggling to access the care, support, and opportunities they've earned. That's unacceptable.
I'll fight to:
The bottom line: Supporting veterans takes more than words—it takes action. I'll fight to make sure every veteran here can access the care, jobs, and benefits they earned.
Join our campaign to take power back for working people.
Show your support. Let your neighbors know you're standing with Aaron.

Jones, a Tiffin City Councilman, said residents had brought their concerns about the CAFO directly to Tiffin City Council on multiple occasions. "[The state] allowed someone to put in a farm that could potentially be dangerous to our drinking water — and not only that, [the state] let them drill a well by a landfill that's 50 years old."
